Thermal Performance
R value of between 0,422m²K/W and 0,620m²K/W with perlite application on external walls and insulated ceiling materials vs the R value of conventional buildings ranging between 0,200m²K/W – 0,350m²K/W.

Strength
The mortar mix design can be adjusted to suit the structural MPa strength as required by the engineer far more resistant against structural cracks caused by ground movements as well as forces of nature such as earthquakes, tornados and hurricanes.
High load bearing strength of 30 tons/lm on a standard 115mm external wall Ratio of 25MPa – 30MPa therefore eliminating the need of columns in a multi-level structure.

Durable
Immune to permanent water damage and impervious to high humidity/moisture. Also does not warp, crack or split easily. Fortis wall strength: 25 – 30 MPa vs. Brick wall.

Versatile
Due to its flexibility, curved and any other shaped walls can be built.

Lightweight
Highly compacted making transport more cost effective (8,400m² of wall core panels fits on a super link truck, equivalent to 73 BNG houses).

Fire Performance
Classified Type FR (non-combustible), Fire transferable resistance rating of 60 minutes. 4 Hours structural resistance with added 20mm Perlite plaster.

Fast Track Construction
The Fortis core panels are light weight and are easily maneuverable around the construction site, helping to speed up the construction process. Greater throughput with the same amount of labour with 95% of the workforce being unskilled.

The mortar is mechanically applied eliminating the timeous orthodox application by hand. No beam filling required eliminating yet another conventional system time delay function.

No time spent on chasing of services as these services are applied before the mortar application.
